About Sadie Hawkins 2008 Mystery

The name may sound corny to you, but what other name could we use for the 2008 mystery! The name depicts the adventure we’ll share during this Leap Year. Our pattern has nothing to do with Sadie Hawkins or the folk lore surrounding her, other than the fact that she must have loved quilts too.

Before you begin this adventure it is strongly recommended that you review Debbie Caffrey’s book, Open a Can of Worms. The cutting techniques described in this book are revolutionary. They not only decrease your cutting time significantly, they also improve your accuracy. You may not know that Debbie was the driving force in the creation of our newest cut of fabric –jelly rolls. A visit to her website will prove to be time well spent. www.debbiescreativemoments.com.

During our next 12 month journey each new step will be posted on the website by the 29th day of each month. You may want to send our site www.fabricdreams.com to your friends so they can enjoy this mystery with you. The chart bellows lists the yardage requirement and colors. A column of suggested product from the website is included to give you a look at how colors may work together in this design. The yardage requirement is generous enough to allow a “Sadie Hawkins” moment!
